Welcome to our wine reviews – we enjoy the exercise of reviewing a wine and passing along our judgment on a particular wine – but it is only that, our judgment. Everyone has a unique palate, one which may get a completely different taste profile from a particular wine; the true fun is in actually tasting the wine and then making notes related to your own tasting experiences on other wines you’ve tasted – this is where the learning takes place. Please, never let anyone tell you what you should and shouldn’t taste in a wine…..that is completely up to you and your taste buds and palate!
The Vallozzi-tini
5 years ago when I was charged with the task of coming up with a way to get rid of 3 dozen pomegranates that Ernie had purchased, panic set in. I had never worked with pomegranates, never tasted one, and had never seen a cocktail made with pomegranate juice.
